FRNNG donates money to support Sharing Pantry – thanks to rubber duck races

Thank you to the Field Regina Northrop Neighborhood Group (FRNNG) for presenting Holy Cross with a $1,500 check to help purchase items for our outdoor Sharing Pantry, located on the 18th Street side of our building. The money will go toward additional ready-to-eat food items and personal care items, which are in great demand.

The money from FRNNG was raised at a rubber duck race down Minnehaha Creek in April, an event the neighborhood group hopes to bring back next year.

FRNNG also presented a check to the New Creation Baptist Church Food Pantry. The New Creation pantry is a few blocks from Holy Cross and is open to anyone in need the first four Saturdays of the month from 10am to 2pm.
